L'Association musulmane du Canada est heureuse d'annoncer que Saturday, March 1, 2025, will be the first day of Ramadan 1446, and the first day of Shawwal (Eid ul-Fitr) is Sunday, March 30, 2025, inshaAllah. MAC follows the Fiqh Council of North America, which utilizes the criteria of the European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR). 

As we approach this sacred month, we extend our heartfelt wishes for a blessed Ramadan to our community in Canada and to Muslims around the world. Ramadan is a time of renewal, mercy, and devotion—a time to strengthen our connection with Allah (SWT) through fasting, prayer, and generosity. 

We remain steadfast in our prayers for our brothers and sisters around the world who continue to face hardship. May Allah (SWT) grant them ease, justice, and peace. May He bring liberation to Masjid Al-Aqsa from occupation. 

May this Ramadan bring barakah, spiritual growth, and a deep connection with our Creator. May He accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds. Ameen.
