The Muslim Association of Canada is pleased to announce that Monday March 11th, 2024 will be the first day of Ramadan 1445 Hijri and Eid ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, inshaAllah. MAC follows The Fiqh Council of North America which utilizes the criteria of the European Council of Fatwa and Research (ECFR).

In light of the challenging times we face, we extend our heartfelt wishes for a blessed Ramadan to our community in Canada and to Muslims all over the world. We pray to Allah SWT for the alleviation of hardships faced by our brothers and sisters enduring difficulties in every corner of the world, particularly in Palestine and Sudan. May Allah SWT bring liberation to Masjid Al-Aqsa from occupation.
