Message of the Executive Director

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Alhamdulillah a new year is upon us. I pray that each of you, your families and communities are well and healthy, inshaAllah.

Allahumma adkhilhu ‘alayna bil amni wal iman, was salamati wal islam, wa ridwanim minar Rahman, wa jiwarim minash shaytan

O Allah, bring this [month or year] upon us with security, iman, safety, Islam, your pleasure and protection from shaytan.

(Al-Mu’jamul Awsat of Tabarani, Hadith: 6237)

As the year ended, and we embraced the new year, a lot happened within the organization.

Through the winter holidays, MAC Youth and Junior Youth held various activities like Storytime and Qiyam, Games Night, and a two part Dawah training series. Events like these for the youth are very important as they build character, a world view, and an Islamic identity.

As the covid restrictions continue and winter sets in it is important to check in on our children, family, and friends. This period of gloomy weather followed by Covid loneliness can take a toll on one’s mental health and as fellow Muslims it is our duty to help our brothers and sisters through their dark moments by being there for them and conversing with them.

To assure the safety of our community I encourage everyone to get their booster shots and children vaccinated as soon as possible.

This bright year is ahead of us with many things planned, Inshallah . Please continue to support MAC this year again and help us build safer Muslim communities across Canada.

focus on the right matters. “islamophobia” may have its place but there is a far greater problem underway in the form of this massive ‘covid’-driven reset of the entire social, financial, and medical system. we have far bigger problems to tackled that are already KILLING millions worldwide (and hint: it’s NOT “covid”)
