Ramadan - The Month of Charity
Beyond fasting, Ramadan is the month of charity. There are many ways to demonstrate charity and help others. Consider extending this aspect of Ramadan by committing to do one or more of these charitable acts.
وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا ۚ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
“And whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah. It is better and greater in reward. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”

- Pay your Zakat (or Zakat-almal as commonly known) There is no better time to pay it than during Ramadan. You can pay your Zakat through MAC.
- Pay your Zakat al-Fitr (or Fitra as commonly known to many). Zakat al-Fitr is valued at $10 per head in a household. You can pay your Zakat al-fitr through MAC.
- Sponsor a food-basket in your local community by donating in online to the foodshare campaign your local masjid
- Help your Masjid survive the Covid-19 pandemic and Become a Monthly Donor
